Driving Directions from the Airport: (PRINT THESE OUT AND BRING WITH YOU)
SHORT VERSION: Owen Roberts Rd to Darcy Dr-go right;,-left at North Sound rd;- at the roundabout turn at West end/7 mile beach sign,
stay on the hwy to West bay road turn right; at Willi Farrington Dr turn right; at Batanao turn right; -at Shores Gate turn left thru the lakes around the red brick corner...house is on the left. The trip takes from 15min to 25 min..depending on traffic
DIRECTIONS:..when you rent your car, pickup a map at the rental agency..sometimes they are hard to come by elsewhere. If you haven'tbeen been to Cayman before...the driving is on the left side, be cautious on the roundabouts...they travel fairly quickly knowing where they are going...but it is confusing to a first timer- on the roundabouts...go around a second time if you need to...no big deal
From the airport - walk across the road to get your car from the rental agency turn right out of the rental parking lot- Owen Roberts rd - road goes around a corner past the airport control tower and the strip where this road ends there is a roundabout- anyone to your right has the right of way- turn right on Darcy Dr-but you must go around the roundabout heading right, this rd ends at North Sound Rd-turn left. Ahead you will see a BIG roundabout
always look right and give way to traffic on the right, at the 3rd exit-marked WEST END 7 mile beach...get off the roundabout...this is the new bypass called North Sound/Easterly Tibbets hwy...stay on this, past Georgetown, Caymana Bay, until it ends on 7 mile beach-West Bay Rd...turn right, You will pass malls, condos, hotels on the strip, pass Cemetary beach and the Firehall, and as you come up to FOSTERS grocery store Turn right on Willie Farrington Dr..there is a stop sign at Batabano corners (also Batabano Road) turn right..you will pass a little farm with cows and come to a red brick road with a gate that says THE SHORES..Shorelink Terrace...turn left go past the 2 lakes a second red brick road goes around the corner and you will see the house on your left..a large yellow WEST INDIES style house, use the 1st driveway and park in front of the apartment.

a quick Heads up- there is always a traffic jam between 5:00 and 6:00 pm once you hit West bay road at the end of the bypass. There is a little beach bar here on 7 mile beach...my suggestion is rather than sit in traffic park on the ocean side, go in and relax for a bit and wait for the traffic to disperse.
